Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Jessica started dancing at the young age of four years old. Over the last 18 years, she has trained extensively in all disciplines of dance. Jessica prides herself on being a versatile dancer with a strong technical background. Under the direction of Lindsay and Blake Angier at Dance Barre, she traveled around North America performing as a member of the Elite Company for 6 years. Her love of dance encouraged her to pursue an education in the arts at Wayne State University, where over the last four years, she has worked with Meg Paul, Jeff Rebudal, Biba Bell, Nicholas Leichter, Ron de Jesus, and Molly Shanahan to name a few. While attending Wayne, Jessica was lucky enough to be apart of Dance Company 1 and Dance Workshop. Not only has she grown as a technician and performer but also as a choreographer; having choreographed her debut concert piece this winter. The growth and breadth of knowledge she has gained while attending the program has influenced her decision to continue in the arts and teach. Jessica is eager to share her passion for dance with her current and future students.
